For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

It seems bizarre to live a life of want to material things but really all they end up being are time wasters. Test yourself. Every hour you spend watching TV you could of been praying for souls. Every dollar spent on material goods could of gone to produce bibles or missionary society's. Every piece of food that is beyond what your body needs and makes you fat should of gone to the hungry.
We live in a time of obligation to Christ. It is a bizarre life. But glorious, full of His love and wonder.

I am in the process of moving house at the moment, and it has been a stark reminder of how much stuff we accumulate. Far too much!
As I look over the landscape of my life spent, I see so much waste, so much loss. The vain things that once charmed me have turned what could have been used in God’s service to ash! So many meaningless pursuits and wasted opportunities! So much hay and stubble to be burned up on the last day!
Lord, please help me redeem my time! May my eyes be stamped with eternity!
