As a software developer I am daily immersed in logic. Without it, computers would not function! In fact, all a computer does at the end of the day is execute millions of logical instructions a second to produce the desired result: show a screen, capture data, process data and store it in a data repository of some sort.
It is nothing more than: If this condition is met then, if this variable equals that value then, do until this condition is met and so on.
At its most basic level all decisions are made on the basis of whether an expression evaluates to a Boolean value of True or False. If it is not True, then it is False. If it is not False, then it must be True. There is no such thing as relative truth. Partly True is still False.
The following expression 1 = 1 evaluates to a value of True. 1 = 2 evaluates to a value of False, as does 1 = 3 and 1 = 4 and 1 = 5 and so on! 1 = 0.99999 is no closer to being True than 1 = 1000, both are False.
Truth is, 1 = 1 and that's it! But there are an infinite number of False permutations! 1 = ? (where ? is not 1).
The point I am trying to make is... the existence of logic is the evidence of absolute truth. Logic does not exist if truth is not absolute!
If truth were relative, programming would be impossible!! 1 = 2 to you and 1 = 4 to you and 1 = 1 to me... absolutely absurd!
There is only one truth!
It is no different spiritually. There is an absolute truth spiritually speaking!
Jesus Christ asserted that He was the Way, the Truth and the Life! Logically, if this is True, then every other way must be False. It is not a case, figuratively speaking, of all roads lead to Rome. According to Christ, only one way leads to God - Him! Accepting or rejecting that fact is accepting or rejecting the Truth.

Fathers Day!
May we take today as an opportunity to reflect upon the past 12 months - as fathers, have we lived as Christ before our children and trained them in the way they should go - as husbands, have we loved our wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her - as men, have we been growing in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, growing in holiness and bearing much fruit showing ourselves to be his disciples?
